Contractions

Mike Bartlett’s Contractions, first presented by London’s Royal Court Theatre, debuts in South Africa at the Alexander Bar on the 25th January 2016. Starring Janna Ramos-Violante (Constellations, Venus in Fur,) Emily Child ( The Pervert Laura, Born in the RSA,) and is Directed by Greg Karvellas ( Bad Jews, Champ) this dark comedy explores the transformative dynamics of the corporate world and quite literally the limits we are willing to put on the Company we keep. Sharp, wily and resolute – this is potent theatre. Contractions was first performed on stage at The Royal Court Theatre, London on 29 May 2008.
